Various Spencer varieties have been used extensively in commerce in recent years and have proved to be reliable seed producers in field productions on a large scale. Sadly indiscriminate multiplication has resulted in too many of the current varieties on offer being but a pale imitation of those large frilly flowers that were their former selves. These have largely found a home in the budget packet seed market and are often sold as a generic “Spencer mix”. We attempt to offer the best stocks available of these items but believe they will never be as satisfying to grow as a carefully selected Premium Spencer variety.
