  HEIRLOOM VARIETIES

In recent years there has been increasing interest in heirloom
varieties of Sweet Peas. These varieties owe their existence to
amateur breeders and specialist societies that have maintained them over the
years. Though smaller flowered than modern day varieties, their popularity lies in
the fact that many of them are highly scented.
