Variety Description
An attractive plant used as a dot plant in bedding schemes or incontainers for patio use. The plants have strap like leaves which are purple in colour. Height 1 metre.

Sowing and Germination
The seed should be sown in a free draining peat based compost and germinated at 20-25C. Germination is slow and may take up to 6 weeks. The seeds may be direct seeded in plugs or pricked out from pots or seed trays.

Growing on
The plants should be pricked out when large enough to handle. Keep the compost moist at all times and grow in a shaded greenhouse. Keep a minimum night temperature of 15c (60F).

Uses
Ideal as a feature plant in bedding schemes or fo use in patio containers.
