Variety Description
A graceful specie commonly known as Baby’s Breath. Growing to a height of 3 feet (90cm) the plants have masses of white flowers and delicate foliage.

Sowing and Germination
Seed is best sown in the site where they are to flower. Gypsophilla does not like root disturbance so transplanting is not advised. The seed should be sown thinly in the spring in drills 1/4 inch (6cm) deep.

Growing on
The seedlings should be carefully thinned. As the plants have a delicate framework a few twiggy sticks can be used to give support. Gypsophilla prefer a sunny well-drained site but the will tolerate some shade.

Uses
Gypsophilla is ideal as a filler for the annual border as well as being excellent as a cut flower.
