Variety Description
Lobelia Monsoon is a trailing Lobelia with deep blue flowers and dark foliage. It has a vigorous habit making it ideal for hanging baskets and containers.

Sowing and Germination
Sowings should be made during the early spring (January-March) at a temperature of 70-80 F (21-26 C). The seeds are very small and should be sown thinly on the surface of a fine sowing compost. Do not cover the seeds but make sure that the surface of the compost does not dry out. Germination takes 10-14 days.

Pricking out and Growing on
When the seedlings are large enough to handle they should be pricked out in “clumps”into seed trays.They should be grown on at 60F (15 C) and then gradually hardened off prior to planting in May/June once frosts have passed.The plants will flower from June till the first Autumn frosts.

Uses
Monsoon is ideal for hanging baskets, window boxes and containers.
