Variety Description
Height: 50 cm x 40 cm spread. A useful hardy perennial which produces intense scarlet red flowers over a long period from early July to September. Will flower the first year from seed if sown early in the Spring.

Sowing and Germination
These are very tiny seeds that should be mixed with finest sand or talcum powder for an even sowing. Do not cover with compost; only press them in very gently. Irrigate from the bottom or with a hand mist sprayer, otherwise the seeds will be washed away!

Rapidly germinating, keep seed moist (not wet!) with temperatures of about + 20 deg. C (68 deg. F). Seeds must be covered with a thin layer of soil.

Growing on
Keep in cooler growing conditions after germination occurs.
